We design, manufacture, and service innovative automated systems such as conveyors, automated guided vehicles, storage & retrieval systems, and integrated controls. We are seeking an experienced Software Developer (AGV) to join our team. Position Summary Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, you will work as part of a medium-sized project team on research, design, development, and testing of software for Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) applications. You will analyze software requirements, author and review specifications, and apply principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematics. Responsibilities Design, develop, and test C++ applications on Microsoft .NET platforms and Windows systems using Visual Studio. Collaborate with project team members and other departments on AGV solutions for manufacturing. Assist in producing and reviewing project documentation. Contribute to team efforts to meet project goals. Ensure project timelines and budgets are maintained. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in C, C++, and .NET development. 2+ years with MS SQL Server. Ability to modify and support C++ applications. Proficiency with Visual Studio, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2016/2022. Industrial automation experience (PLC or OPC) is a plus. Skills & Abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel up to 20% annually. Flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong time management, communication, coordination, critical thinking, and problem recognition skills. Education & Experience BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Microsoft .NET and database certifications are preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time, operate computers and machinery, and communicate effectively.
