Overview
Conducting hardware exploitation and examination of digital media devices
Reverse engineering, failure analysis, and vulnerability analysis of hardware
Modifying hardware for forensic analysis or functionality changes
Performing inspection, imaging, decapsulation, deprocessing, and related activities in a microelectronics lab
Developing frameworks, processes, and tools for hardware exploitation
Serving as a subject matter expert for IC/DOD customers
Preparing technical reports for diverse audiences
Applying reverse engineering and research techniques to engineer low-level C and assembly code
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s in a STEM discipline with at least 5 years of related experience
Must be DoD 8570 compliant, IAT Level II
Strong programming and OS concepts knowledge; experience with C, C++, Python, Perl
Experience in reverse engineering embedded systems with proprietary OS
Knowledge of C and Assembler for embedded platforms
Experience with microprocessor architectures like ARM, MIPS, RISC, PowerPC, x86
Must pass a written test prior to starting work
Security Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
Highly Desired Experience:
Experience with various operating systems (VxWorks, Linux, Windows Embedded, etc.)
Experience with IDEs, hardware tools, and software debuggers such as IDA Pro, GDB, Wireshark
This position is full-time at a senior or mid level, located in Bethesda, MD, and involves engineering and IT within the internet publishing industry.
