Summary:
The position will be responsible for customizing financial systems and creating system interfaces. Technical duties will include troubleshooting, programming, UI design, system integration, and upgrade impact analysis. Senior level responsibilities include providing design leadership, facilitating coding best practices, and monitoring SAAS performance. Emphasis will be placed on highly reliable and accurate solutions to ensure the accounting department is providing correct and consistent information for operational and executive decision making. As a senior level role, it will be expected to operate independently, requiring minimal supervision.
General Responsibilities
Develop and maintain customizations for financial systems. Build custom interfaces between financial systems and other data sources. Design solutions that facilitate operational objectives and improve processes. Translate between business requirements and technical specifications, ensuring non-technical personnel understand the pros and cons of design options. Ensure technical decisions support data accuracy and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, emphasizing root cause analysis. Implement and manage version control solution to support simultaneous development efforts. Monitor and report on SAAS performance metrics. Provide technical mentoring to less experienced team members. Other financial system duties as warranted or directed.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of relevant work experience. Expertise in C# or VB and .net framework. Proficiency with MS SQL and SAAS solutions. Familiar with fundamental accounting concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
BST11 Global. Engineering work environment.
Physical Requirements
Position requires concentration, accuracy, and focused mental effort. Ability to sit for extended periods working on a computer. Works in a normal office environment. Occasional travel between offices.
