GSM and LTE protocol stacks
for satellite-based cell towers. Develop and modify
Linux applications
for satellite-direct-to-phone services. Integrate
telecommunications hardware and software systems , including
software-defined radios
and Linux servers. Implement inter-application coordination and communications using
standard Linux IPC mechanisms . Develop test software and drivers to support
unit, integration, and system testing . Write software in
C, C++ and other languages
in a Linux environment. Requirements: 5+ years
of experience in
telecommunications software development . Bachelor's (or higher) degree in
Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field . Strong knowledge of
telecom protocols & RF communications
(LTE, GSM, GPRS, HSPA, CDMA, FDMA, etc.). Expertise in at least one layer of
cellular network infrastructure
(RAN, Core Network signaling): 2G
(e.g., HLR, VLR, MSC, SMSC) 4G
(e.g., eNB, HSS, MME, P-GW, S-GW) 5G
(e.g., gNB, UDM, AMF, SMF, UPF) Working knowledge of
telecom networking standards : TCP/IP, Ethernet, SNMP, SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, etc. Experience with
Linux inter-process communication (IPC)
mechanisms. Strong programming skills in
C, C++, Python
in a Linux environment. Bonus Points (Preferred Skills): Experience with
software-defined radio (SDR) systems
(receiver architectures, modulation/demodulation, encoding/decoding). Experience using
wireless communication test equipment
(spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators). Background in
reverse engineering and low-level software analysis. Seniority level
