A client of Sharp Decisions if looking for a
Sr. DataHub Architect . This role is
ONSITE
in Torrance, CA with an initial contract of
8+ months,
W2 only.
Daily Tasks Performed
Architect and customize DataHub, including pipelines, storage, and metadata models. Integrate DataHub with data lakes, warehouses, BI tools, APIs, and pipelines like Airflow. Build ingestion pipelines using Kafka, REST APIs, Python, and connectors for tools like Snowflake and Power BI. Lead metadata governance, lineage tracking, data protection, and ensure catalog adoption.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or metadata management. 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and customizing DataHub, preferably in a complex enterprise environment. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native deployments (AWS, Azure, etc.). Strong expertise in: Metadata standards and lineage frameworks Kafka, REST APIs, Python, SQL, and JSON-based data models Integration with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Airflow, Git)
