Sr. Global Medical Communications Manager- Pharma (Hybrid- Lawrenceville, NJ)

We are seeking a Sr. Global Medical Communications Manager- Pharma (Hybrid- Lawrenceville, NJ) for a global pharmaceutical company. The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive, globally aligned medical publications and content strategy to support data communication and product launches. Responsibilities include updating medical content based on clinical data, managing publications, congress activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

This is a 40-hour/week, 6-month contract with possible extensions, requiring 50% onsite presence in Lawrenceville, NJ. It is a W2 position offering health benefits and a 401K plan.

Responsibilities

• Analyze scientific data to produce accurate, compliant documents for healthcare communication
• Lead medical communication development, including journal submissions and scientific content
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content
• Support Oncology communication strategies targeting healthcare providers, payers, and decision-makers
• Serve as a scientific communication subject matter expert internally and externally
• Develop content for healthcare providers and payers, including FAQs and backgrounders
• Stay current with industry practices in Medical Communications
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistent messaging
• Standardize medical content processes globally
• Implement effective communication and feedback mechanisms for content improvement
• Maintain expert knowledge in therapeutic areas
• Manage vendor partnerships for publication and content delivery

Minimum Requirements

• 4+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare medical communications
• Experience in scientific publication development and planning
• Experience across drug development and commercialization phases
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and publication management tools (e.g., iEnvision)
• Knowledge of publication standards (GPP3, ICMJE)
• Preferred: Oncology experience, understanding of clinical trial design, and statistical methods
• Educational qualifications: PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent
