Principal Responsibilities And Duties: Define / develop new and revise existing training curricula for use in instructor-led, e-Learning, or mobile scenarios and interface with technical writers, product engineers, technical support, sales, marketing, and manufacturing personnel as necessary to source information, data, graphics, materials, etc. (25%) - Designer Conduct training on a wide variety of Watts Water Technologies products. (40%) - Instructor Partner with internal and external personnel to identify, understand, and resolve customer issues to ensure the delivery of the best possible training solution. (10%) - Designer Ensure training equipment, supplies, and facilities are fully operational and consistent with Watts Water Technologies quality standards and customer expectations; perform equipment maintenance / upgrades as scheduled or required. (5%) - Designer Mentors / trains other Technical Instructors / Instructional Developers to ensure Watts Water Technologies training is of the highest quality possible. (10%) - Designer Assist with development of training program policies, procedures, standards, and templates. (5%) - Designer May lead and direct the work of others to complete instructional design projects. (5%) - Designer Employee Core Competencies: Collaborate across workgroups Communicate effectively Initiate positive change Drive for results Deliver high-quality work Focus on the customer Education: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent (e.g., Military School Instructor). Proficiency with current PC applications / office environment Management: This position has no direct reports Experience And Required Skills: Instructor or Instructional Design / training development experience for construction / mechanical engineering projects / systems Minimum of 6 -10 years' experience as a technical instructor / technical course developer / instructional designer Deep understanding of plumbing systems, backflow preventers, various types of control valves, pressure regulators, etc. Travel (35%)
