Job Duties: Responsible for development of Data Ingestion Layer as part of Data Strategy, especially using service-based architecture. Develops ETL, ELT and other service-based integration jobs as part of overall Data application delivery. Works with data team members to prepare data to Data Lake, an Enterprise Data Hub or Data Warehouse, using latest cloud-based technologies like Snowflake. Mentor junior level Team Members. Review software applications (AWS, FiveTran, Python, Matillion, Snowflake, SQL Server) to determine stability, interoperability, security, and scalability of system architecture; advise on security concerns. Assist with automating system design and implementation regarding infrastructure creation and configuration. Develop GitLab CI/CD automation scripts. Assist with software design and development, identifying solutions to complex software applications problems, system administration issues, and/or network concerns. Assist in proposing architecture and technical solutions to support current state and move the organization forward more effectively. Perform software system enhancements and modifications on AWS and other data platforms. Collaborate with other software developers, security engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements on data integration tasks at hand; attend and contribute to solutioning discussions and emerge with pragmatic recommendations. Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelors or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field.
