Staff Engineer - iOS

CVS Health The Staff Engineer - iOS will work on the team that brings CVS customers their “Shopping Super-power” – the customer-facing Flagship CVS Shopping and Pharmacy apps. Responsibilities include advancing architecture and Mobile Product, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as design, product, and analysts to deliver great user experiences. The role involves partnering with Apps Platform Engineers, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and fellow Feature Team Engineers to build omni-channel shopping products. The engineer will be a subject matter expert in software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle and the e-Commerce domain. The role includes developing complex iOS code, iterating features with Product and UX teams, mentoring team members, improving foundational architecture, maintaining mobile apps CI and CD infrastructure, providing tooling support, driving cost and time to market solutions, managing end-to-end application delivery, monitoring application health and KPIs, troubleshooting complex issues, advocating security best practices, and providing technical guidance. Job duties may change due to business needs. Required qualifications include 7+ years of software development with iOS applications, 5+ years with modern iOS frameworks like SwiftUI, experience working with cross-functional teams, influencing best practices, and accessibility experience. Preferred qualifications include TDD, continuous delivery, BFF and GraphQL, expertise in iOS tools and reactive programming, integration with third-party SDKs, OAuth experience, build systems knowledge, static and dynamic analyzers, and significant contributions to Apple store apps. Education required is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Seniority level
