Leidos is looking for a Systems Integration Lab Manager who possesses robust knowledge in network engineering. You will take charge of managing a multi-site systems integration lab, leading a talented team of engineers and technicians in the development and deployment of advanced technologies essential for mission-critical operations.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance in the design, integration, and deployment of cutting-edge technology solutions, driving various activities such as research & development, proof of concepts, testing, and the validation of secure communications and network technologies. This position requires innovative thinking and independent judgment to address complex challenges, ensuring mission success.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the systems integration lab to ensure optimal operation and maintenance.
Manage lab resources, including budgeting and procurement of equipment and materials.
Provide comprehensive system engineering lifecycle support for complex data systems and networks.
Lead task assignment, workload management, and provide performance guidance.
Survey, design, install, and maintain reliable computer systems, servers, and networks.
Offer strategic direction on technology-related policy issues involving Data Analytics, Autonomous Systems, and Cybersecurity.
Integrate and enhance hardware, software, and network solutions to support Air Force operational capabilities.
Apply system engineering expertise across areas such as system architecture, requirements analysis, data flow analysis, network design, and testing.
Guide system development and implementation through expert assessments.
Create system configuration documentation including capacity planning, risk assessments, and analysis of alternatives.
Supervise or coordinate the work of other engineers and technicians on varied projects.
Analyze and recommend engineering standards and processes to tackle technical challenges.
Support comprehensive testing and validation of systems in both simulated and real-world environments.
Mentor junior engineers to cultivate technical skills and encourage teamwork.
Communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently through various means.
Prepare and deliver briefings for senior leadership.
Develop and implement standards and metrics to improve operational efficiencies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience or a Master's with 6+ years. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
Must possess a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+).
Demonstrated experience guiding technical teams to achieve project success.
Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies for effective project management.
Proficient in designing, implementing, and migrating complex network infrastructure.
Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and infrastructure (Cisco, VERSA, Juniper).
Deep understanding of WAN environments, MPLS architecture, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS).
Strong background in networking with a focus on reliability and performance.
Capable of researching and troubleshooting networking issues and evaluating emerging technologies.
Experienced in creating technical documentation using Microsoft Visio.
US Citizen with at least a Secret security clearance, eligible for upgrade to Top Secret for access to SCI.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting.
Experience in CI/CD DevOps pipelines.
Strong understanding of virtualization, hypervisors, and cloud-native technologies.
Experience with Public/Gov/DoD Cloud environments and virtualized network infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper).
Knowledge of Remote Access VPN, IPsec, PKI.
Familiarity with Zero Trust principles/products (Cisco Secure Access, Prisma, ZScaler).
Professional certifications in leading SDN technology (Cisco, Juniper, VERSA).

Experience building and maintaining environments, including troubleshooting at a deep level.
