Job Description
We are seeking a talented
Simulation Engineer
with expertise in 1D systems simulation and a strong focus on drivetrain and battery-electric systems. This role involves simulating and analyzing electrical systems to optimize performance, efficiency, and reliability for cutting-edge electrification projects.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute 1D simulations for electrical and system-level models, focusing on drivetrain and battery-electric systems. Analyze and optimize the performance of drivetrain components, including energy storage, power conversion, and motor control systems. Perform system simulations to evaluate energy efficiency, thermal management, and overall system reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate simulation models with experimental data and ensure alignment with design objectives. Conduct trade-off analyses to support design decisions and system architecture optimization. Create detailed reports and documentation of simulation processes, results, and recommendations. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and simulation methodologies in electrification. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience with 1D simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Amesim, or GT-SUITE. Strong understanding of battery-electric systems, powertrains, and system dynamics. Proficiency in modeling and simulating electrical systems and their interactions within a system. Knowledge of drivetrain components and their integration in electrified systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams.
