Job Title: Workday Integration Developer - HCM & Financials Modules
Location: Remote
W2 Contract/Long term
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Workday Integration Developer to support the development, testing, and deployment of Workday integrations and reports. The ideal candidate will contribute to design discussions, document requirements, and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with project standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Document requirements, develop, and unit test Workday integrations and custom reports Attend and contribute to design meetings to capture technical and functional requirements Present design approaches and completed builds during team checkpoints and stakeholder reviews Maintain accurate and up-to-date development and build statuses using JIRA Follow standardized development approaches and adhere to knowledge management documentation standards Support tenant migration activities, including test execution and smoke testing during tenant builds Assist in the resolution of integration defects, including impact assessments for change requests Support both first and second production cutover runs to ensure stable deployment Provide ongoing updates on design, development progress, and escalate issues or risks as needed
Qualifications:
3–6+ years of experience developing Workday integrations
(Core Connectors, Studio, EIB, REST/SOAP APIs) Solid understanding of Workday report writing (Advanced, Composite) and data sources Experience with
XSLT, XML, JSON, Workday Web Services, and middleware tools Familiarity with JIRA or similar project tracking systems Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to work independently in a collaborative, Agile team environment Workday Integration certification preferred
