Project Engineer (Hull)

Assist/support Project Engineering Manager in managing engineering work, including deliverables, man-hour, and schedule control, mainly in multi-disciplinary engineering design activities, ensuring work aligns with project requirements. Identify and understand project specifications and execution requirements to prepare and issue key project documents. Follow up on comments on project documents and manage their closure. Coordinate the flow of design input, output information, and deliverables across disciplines, clients, subcontractors, and Class. Assist in preparing MDR with Hull & marine Engineering Manager, Topsides Engineering Manager, and Discipline Leads. Assist in preparing engineering schedules with relevant managers and leads. Participate in project meetings, draft Minutes of Meeting (MoM), and follow up on action items. Liaise with clients, vendors, subcontractors, Class, and cross-functional teams to coordinate project plans and resolve technical issues. Ensure design reviews are conducted with appropriate attendees and monitor the closure of action items. Manage and follow up on design change actions. Prepare and issue weekly and monthly project progress and status reports, updating action items accordingly. Collaborate with the document officer to develop and manage document flow and processes. Manage MDR and coordinate activities related to lessons learned, project audits, and process improvements. Job Requirements Preferably at least 8 years of relevant experience.
