This role requires a strong clinical background in emergency nursing, including the management of adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking skills and be able to function both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, managing both adult and pediatric patients.- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and symptoms, manage dysrhythmias, and administer IV vasopressors.- Perform phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central line care.- Provide procedural sedation and care for ventilated patients.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and radiology, to deliver optimal patient care.- Adhere to safety and quality standards within the emergency healthcare setting. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency nursing role.- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.- Proficiency with Epic documentation system is required.- Previous charge experience is preferred.- Familiarity with managing emergency situations involving neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.- Must be willing to adhere to restricted contracting areas. Employee Expectations: - Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 during weekdays and up to 4 patients per nurse during night shifts.- Participate in a 12-hour orientation.- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
