As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in managing patient care, ensuring safety, and providing high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. This facility is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and operates a 24-hour Emergency Department recognized as an accredited Chest Pain Center. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee nursing operations within the Emergency Department.- Coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to established protocols.- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting a team-oriented atmosphere.- Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems.- Implement triage assessment and manage patient flow.- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives. Requirements: - Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.- Strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset.- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and variable shifts (days/mids/nights).- Willingness to float or cover specific roles as required. Patient Population: Experience with a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients.
