Sally Beauty Essential Function Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for all Primary Duties when the Store Manager is not present. Job Description Sally Beauty Job Title: Assistant Manager Primary Duties 30% Brand:
Provides supervision and supports the direction & planning of associates’ daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximizing sales/KPIs, and driving customer loyalty. Ensures all brand standards are met. Acts as the main contact for customer issues and analyzes store trends. 30% People:
Engages, trains, and develops teams to achieve results. Recruits and builds strong networks of candidates. Addresses associate strengths and opportunities through coaching. Maintains positive relations and communication, fostering diversity and inclusion. 30% Operations:
Ensures execution of company processes, including digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment. Manages inventory, payroll, store opening/closing procedures, and follows company directives. 10% Safety/Loss Prevention:
Ensures a safe environment, protects assets, and ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures. Knowledge, Skills/Abilities and Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years or older Retail sales/customer service experience preferred Management experience preferred Effective leadership and communication skills Availability to meet business needs Cosmetology license desirable but not required Competencies Passionate Learner Flexible & Agile Adapter Talent Builder Effective Communicator Team Builder Customer Focused Partner Results Driver Strategic & Big Picture Thinker Problem Solver & Decision Maker Working Conditions Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting, and other movements.
