ICU Nursing Job Details Location: High Point, NC 27262 (North Carolina nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting: Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Start Date: September 8, 2025 End Date: December 6, 2025 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed) Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays Scrub Color: Royal Blue Free Parking Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1570 - $1680 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Proficient in cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, arterial lines, titration of drips, ventilator care, vascular lines, chest tubes, and CRRT Experience with advanced hemodynamics and continuous monitoring of cardiac, respiratory, and neurologic status Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC preferred) Ability to float within the critical care division or Intermediate Care as needed ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed ICU Manage patients with complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, renal failure, severe sepsis, cardiac arrest, and neuro-medical cases Perform advanced monitoring and interventions, including ventilator support, CRRT, and targeted temperature management Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and nurse techs Maintain accurate documentation and participate in continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation Support a positive, team-focused unit culture and contribute to a high-tech, high-touch healthcare environment Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing professional development Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel ICU Registered Nurse in High Point, North Carolina!
