We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-starter who is dedicated and detail-oriented, a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Provide excellent overall administrative and client support in the field
n
• Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, safe job site, including help with conducting the weekly safety meetings and all project documentation.
n
• Responsible for the organization/distribution/management of all construction documents for field office(s).
n
• Track and coordinate RFIs, submittals, & change order work with subcontractors efficiently.
n
• Work collaboratively with the project manager/superintendent in the production and distribution of a three-week look-ahead and several schedules using MS Project. Must demonstrate and take initiative on all current projects with excellent attention to detail.
n
• Climbing and walking on scaffolding may be necessary.
n
• The Assistant Project Manager will be working on-site at multiple ground-up and large-scale renovation projects in the High-End Residential sector. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules.
n
• Utilize construction management software, including ProCore, to track project progress and documentation.
n
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
n
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
n
• Assist in project scheduling and resource allocation to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.
n
• Perform time management tasks to ensure projects stay on track and within budget.
n
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to facilitate smooth operations on construction sites.
n
• Prepare reports on project status, challenges, and solutions for management review.

Requirements

n
• Minum 2 years of construction experience or equivalent degree in Engineering or Construction Management
n
• Proven experience in construction management or project engineering roles.
n
• Proficient Computer Skills in Microsoft System Applications (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Powerpoint).
n
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, is highly desirable.
n
• Detail-Oriented, Self-Starter, completes tasks efficiently (Document Processing)
n
• Flexible to rapid pace and changing situations
n
• Adaptable to all work environments: in the field, in the office, remote work (if needed)
n
• Fast learner, Ability to identify and resolve issues independently with minimal supervision.
n
• Team player with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for a collaborative team environment
n
• Exemplary communication skills (customer service, relationship management), e-mail and phone etiquette, writing/typing, research, and organizational skills.
n
• Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and tools.
n
• Excellent blueprint reading skills with a keen eye for detail.
n
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
n
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
n
• Ability to work on-site at construction locations as required.
