Position Overview:

This role is responsible for supporting and enhancing asset management processes, ensuring accurate tracking of software, hardware, and equipment throughout their lifecycle. The position also provides operational support, process development, and reporting to maintain data integrity and compliance with industry best practices.

Duties:

Serve as the back-up Asset Manager Develop and implement processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment through the lifecycle Provide day-to-day operational and maintenance support, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues related to the Asset Management module in Remedy and ServiceNow Conduct annual inventory audits and develop procedures for consistency Perform bulk uploads of asset data Identify and perform audits on asset data for accuracy and completeness Develop and maintain asset-related foundation data Create asset reports for users and management Create and manage user accounts, site information, hardware/product categorizations, and support groups Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) Manage fixed and floating licensing for the Asset Management module Create end-user documentation Develop and conduct training sessions for asset management processes

Required Skills:

5 years' experience as an Asset Manager 2-4 years' experience with BMC Remedy (version 20.02) or equivalent ITSM tool ITIL Foundation Certification Strong working knowledge of the CMDB and asset management methodology, tools, terminology, and industry best practices Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written), including meeting management and facilitation Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities successfully, delivering with high quality Excellent customer service skills, with experience servicing and interfacing with individuals across IT in various roles Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
