About the Role
Seeking an
Asset Manager
with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as the back-up Asset Manager. Develop and implement processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment through the lifecycle. Provide day-to-day operational & maintenance support of production issues, troubleshooting/debugging and resolving issues related to Asset Management module in Remedy and Service Now. Conduct annual inventory audit and develop processes and procedures for consistency. Perform bulk uploads of asset data. Identify and perform audits on asset data. Develop and maintain asset-related foundation data. Develop asset reports for users and management. Create user accounts, site information, hardware and product categorizations, and support groups. Participate in user acceptance testing. Manage fixed and floating licensing for Asset Management Module. Create end-user documentation. Develop and conduct training. Must Haves (Required)
At least 5 years' experience as an Asset Manager -
Required - 5 Years Minimum of 2-4 years' experience with BMC Remedy (version 20.02) or equivalent ITSM tool -
Required - 2 Years ITIL Foundation Certification -
Required Strong working knowledge of the CMDB and Asset Management methodology, tools, terminology, and industry best practices -
Required Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written), including meeting management and facilitation -
Required Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities successfully, delivering with high quality -
Required Excellent customer service skills servicing and interfacing with individuals across IT (customers) in different roles -
Required Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) -
Required Nice to Haves (Highly Desired)
Experience with Service Now in addition to BMC Remedy. Prior experience with large-scale IT asset lifecycle management in a government or enterprise environment. Important Note
This requisition requires a virtual interview via Microsoft Teams. Start date is as soon as possible pending a compliant PATCH. Hybrid schedule with onsite presence two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) - subject to change based on workload. First day processing, badging, and equipment pickup must be done onsite (may take a few days).
