This position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care during the night shift, with a patient ratio of 1:5. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, works well under pressure, and is committed to providing exceptional care to patients. Key Responsibilities: - Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and patient history.- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.- Educate patients and families regarding health management and discharge planning.- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in the EMR system (MedHost).- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Float to other units as needed while adhering to facility protocols. Requirements: - Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted).- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a PCU or similar setting.- Ability to work rotating weekends with no on-call obligation.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Patient Care Environment: - 25 bed PCU with various patient cases.- Scrub color: Any solid color.
