This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and is suitable for first-time travelers. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver nursing care in a Stepdown unit setting- Monitor and manage patient conditions, primarily working with adult and geriatric patients- Perform telemetry monitoring, interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias- Administer medications and medical treatments according to physicians' orders- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Respiratory Services, to ensure comprehensive patient care- Float as needed to all adult acute care units Requirements: - Active RN license required by start date (pending licenses not accepted)- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification by AHA - Experience with EPIC charting and telemetry management - Previous experience in a progressive care or Stepdown unit preferred - Availability for 3 weekends per 4-week schedule Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - Experience in ventilator management, conscious sedation, and chemotherapy administration - Previous charge nurse experience is beneficial Facility Details: - Type: Short Term Acute Care Hospital - Bed Capacity: 632 - Magnet and Teaching status Patient Care Focus: - Pre-operative, post-operative cardiac catheterization, arrhythmia management, CHF, and trauma - Caring for patients with orthopedic conditions, oncology issues, and post-surgical cases Additional Information: - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3, 12-hour shifts, 48 hours for 4, 12-hour shifts - Orientation hours: 12 - Community hospital with a collaborative healthcare team Working at ARMStaffing : At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
