Student workers collaborate closely with department staff in supporting the organizational efficiency of the ASE-EM Business Office. Our office is looking for students who are flexible, friendly, effective written and verbal communicators, and able to work well alone and with a team. The ideal candidate will also have a background in customer service, a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality, and must be able to demonstrate the ability to take initiative. All training necessary will be provided. Responsibilities

Accounting: processing of billing payment vouchers and assisting with account reconciliation Organization: Assisting with filing system and digitization of department files. Assisting with editing written communications and photo editing Assisting with purchasing of office and lab supplies along with inventory management. Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Interest in academic office management and processes. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong, independent, and collaborative work ethic. Current UT Austin student, enrolled/registered with fees paid for the current semester and in good academic standing. Financial aid work-study recipient. Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with UT Austin's administrative systems. Salary Range

$15.00 Hourly Working Conditions

Must be available to work 10-15 hours per week. Flexible work hours between Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, based on students' class schedule. Required Materials
