We are committed to building capacity, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and lowering the barriers and burden involved in scientific and creative inquiry through the development of an investigator-focused infrastructure that supports the needs of UT Austin's research enterprise. The Research Core Facilities (RCF) office supports a network of research service centers that provide access to advanced technologies and expertise for scientific discovery. This student position offers hands-on experience in research administration, program support, and data systems that underpin the university's research infrastructure. Purpose To provide support with the creation, organization, and ongoing maintenance of administrative systems, databases, and reports that support the RCF portfolio. This position will contribute to efficient internal processes, accurate reporting, and the broader visibility of core facility activities and impact. Responsibilities Maintain and update the central RCF database. Build and manage contact lists for staff, facility leadership, principal investigators, and vendors. Support the administration of CBRS courses, including tracking enrollments and scheduling updates. Monitor RRID citations and Google Alerts to track core facility usage in publications and media. Assist with tracking, compiling, and presenting event and facility activity data. Provide logistical and administrative support for professional development sessions, outreach events, and internal programs. Other data entry, research, or support tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications
Experience with spreadsheets, databases, or administrative tracking systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Strong, independent, and collaborative work ethic. Current UT Austin student, enrolled/registered with fees paid for the current semester and in good academic standing. Financial aid work-study recipient. Preferred Qualifications
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other management platforms, specifically Excel and Google Sheets. Interest in project coordination, research administration, or data science. Salary Range

Must be available to work 10-15 hours per week. Flexible work hours between Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, based on students' class schedule. Required Materials
