Position Details
The successful candidate will be a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with a strong background in restaurant-based food safety, allergen management, and wellness programming. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement and ensuring consistent execution of food safety and wellness initiatives in partnership with chefs, operators, and client stakeholders.
Salary:
$90,000- $102,000 per year

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Safety & Wellness Manager to lead wellness, allergen labeling, food safety, quality assurance, and audit compliance across multiple office dining operations for a tech client. This role ensures food safety, quality, and inclusivity across five U.S. cities, aligned with the company's values of innovation, integrity, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Food Safety & Quality Assurance: Lead site-level execution, conduct audits, develop corrective actions, and serve as the contact for food safety incidents.
- Allergen Labeling & Risk Management: Manage allergen control systems, train teams, ensure accurate labeling, and serve as SME for menu management software.
- Wellness Programming: Support wellness-focused food offerings, promote educational campaigns, and act as a nutrition subject matter expert.
- Training & Team Support: Deliver training, mentor team members.
- Corporate Collaboration: Participate in meetings, ensure alignment with corporate standards.
- Customer Service: Represent the company courteously, respond to comments, and relay feedback.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian credential required.
- State licensure where applicable.
- Experience in foodservice, culinary nutrition, or food safety in high-volume environments (minimum 5 years).
- Serve-Safe Manager certification required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel up to 40%.
- Experience with tech clients or in hospitality preferred.
