The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in pathology and will be responsible for assisting pathologists with diagnostic responsibilities and laboratory tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Assist pathologists during surgical procedures and with the preparation of specimens for analysis.- Perform routine laboratory tasks associated with pathology, including specimen processing and documentation.- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with established protocols.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.- Participate in continuous education and training programs. Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pathology Assistant (first-timers welcome if experience requirement is met).- Required certifications: BLS, ASCP Certification, and WV State License.- Must provide documented proof of flu vaccine or an allergy upon request.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
