Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring accurate processing of invoices. Responsibilities:

  • Process and match purchase orders (POs) while collaborating with procurement teams and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage the accounts payable inbox, organizing invoices by cost centers or names in coordination with teammates.
  • Oversee travel and expense reimbursements using Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Handle a high volume of invoices, approximately 400 per month, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support month-end activities, including accruals and other accounting tasks.
  • Maintain and update supplier lists to ensure accurate records.
  • Assist with financial operations for the Bungie Foundation, including QuickBooks Online transactions.
  • Utilize Workday ERP and other systems to streamline accounts payable processes.
  • Contribute to team collaboration and foster positive working relationships within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and practices.
  • Experience with Workday ERP and Concur systems.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as Excel and QuickBooks Online.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of invoices efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Familiarity with the entertainment or gaming industry is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in ERP systems and automated clearing house (ACH) transactions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
