Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders and convert them into invoices using QuickBooks Online.
- Perform three-way matching by comparing purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Verify and validate invoices related to inventory and distribution operations.
- Code and record accounts payable transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, including ACH transfers and check disbursements.
- Maintain organized records of invoices and payments for auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial transactions.
- Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts payable records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with automated systems.
- Strong understanding of purchase orders, inventory, and distribution processes.
- Ability to perform three-way matching and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Skilled in coding invoices and managing account coding processes.
- Experience with ACH payments and check runs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication abilities to interact with vendors and internal teams.
