About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Dean for Nursing to play a pivotal role in the planning, development, management, and evaluation of all aspects of the nursing program. This includes overseeing program budgets, faculty and staff clinical site liaisons, curriculum development, and ensuring program compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for student and faculty records, preparing various written materials for state and board requirements, and maintaining educational partnerships with clinical sites. Additionally, the role involves serving as a liaison between the community and the college, participating in faculty recruitment and orientation, and actively engaging in program and faculty evaluation.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, with a focus on nursing and education administration, and at least 2 years' of experience in an administrative position, teaching in nursing programs, and direct patient care as a registered nurse. The role requires a current RN license, experience in supervision, planning, and budget maintenance, as well as demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be committed to diversity, have a collaborative leadership style, and be adept at working with a wide variety of people and institutions. Responsibilities also include student advocacy, conflict resolution, and ensuring the quality of instruction and student performance in the program.
