About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Dean of Nursing to join their academic leadership team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Dean to ensure the advancement of academic excellence, operational efficiency, and program quality within the BSN program. Key responsibilities for this role include supporting curriculum development and implementation to meet accreditation standards, monitoring and integrating emerging trends in nursing education, and ensuring faculty and student success initiatives are in place. The Assistant Dean will also be involved in faculty coordination and development, student advising, program administration, and fostering partnerships with healthcare organizations and the community.
Candidates for the Assistant Dean position must have a Master’s degree in Nursing, with a preference for a Doctorate, and a current, unencumbered RN license. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in nursing education, clinical practice, or administration is required, with at least 2-3 years' of teaching experience at the baccalaureate level preferred. The role demands strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and healthcare. Experience in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and program administration is a plus. The Assistant Dean will be expected to contribute to strategic planning, program assessment, and quality improvement initiatives, and may be involved in grant writing, fundraising, and alumni engagement to support program growth.
