Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Contract Length: 91 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week No. of Positions: 1
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic team. This position involves assisting in surgical procedures across various specialties, requiring not only technical clinical skills but also excellent teamwork and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgery, ensuring a sterile environment. - Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during surgical procedures by handing instruments and supplies. - Monitor the patient's condition during surgery and assist with any necessary interventions. - Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. - Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to provide the highest level of patient care. - Be available for on-call requirements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from NBSTSA (CST required at the time of submission). - Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgery. - Ability to float to other units as required. - Minimum of [insert years of experience required] years of surgical tech experience preferred. - Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
