In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in various surgical procedures across a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in ortho, GYN (including C-sections), urology, general surgery, and sports medicine spine. Key Responsibilities: - Assist surgical teams during operations, ensuring that all necessary instruments and equipment are prepared and available.- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals.- Demonstrate proficiency in key surgical areas, including ortho, gynecological, urology, general, and sports medicine spine surgeries.- Complete a skills checklist that outlines your experience and competencies. Qualifications: - Current NH Med Tech License/certification is required.- Minimum of 2 years of recent CST/scrub experience in a clinical setting.- NBSTSA certification is preferred but not required; candidates with NBSTSA certification will be given first consideration.- Experience in trauma and a familiarity with McKesson EMR is advantageous.- Reliable transportation is necessary for this position. Contract Details: - Guaranteed hours for the duration of the contract, with potential for additional hours as needed.- Availability for on-call, holiday, and weekend shifts.- Non-billable orientation required.
