Private Equity Associate – Infrastructure

A mid-market private equity investor is looking to add an Associate to its Los Angeles or San Francisco team. The firm employs a flexible capital strategy across equity and debt, investing in sustainable infrastructure, energy transition, digital, transportation, and social assets. Associates will work closely with senior leadership on sourcing, diligence, and execution, while also supporting portfolio company value creation. This is a strong opportunity to join a high-energy platform with significant deal flow and impact. Key Responsibilities: Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market diligence for new investments. Work with senior team members on transaction structuring, execution, and portfolio monitoring. Develop investment materials and support communication with the investment committee. Partner with portfolio companies on operational and strategic projects to drive growth. Ideal Background: 2–4 years of investment banking or principal investing experience, preferably in infrastructure, energy, or industrials. Excellent financial modeling and execution skills with strong technical grounding. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a collaborative mindset. Entrepreneurial approach and genuine interest in sustainability and infrastructure investing.
