Pay Information $2,038 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 6 months relevant experience required License: Must possess an active state nursing license Certifications: - ACLS (AHA) - PALS (AHA) - BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Relevant certifications - Compliance documents submitted one week prior to starting Description: This is a 13-week assignment in an open ICU setting. The unit encompasses various intensive care specialties. Patient placement is determined based on bed availability, not reason for admission. The staffing ratio in the ICU is typically 1:2, with occasional 1:3 for ICU patients. In instances of low census, floating to the cardiac unit may occur, which operates on a 1:4 staffing ratio. Floating to the emergency department may also happen to care for patients held there with similar patient ratios. Internal review of applicants without required certifications is still possible. All compliance paperwork must be submitted prior to the commencement of the assignment.
