Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll processes. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll for employees, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and providing support to staff regarding payroll matters.
Key Responsibilities
Process full-cycle payroll for all employees, including time entry, wage calculations, and adjustments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and company policies.
Review and reconcile payroll reports to maintain accuracy.
Manage payroll deductions, benefits contributions, and garnishments.
Maintain employee payroll records and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
Collaborate with HR and Finance to support reporting, audits, and compliance needs.
Qualifications
5+ years of payroll experience, full-cycle.
High-volume payroll experience, with at least 300+ employees.
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and tax reporting.
Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar).
General accounting knowledge and experience with Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
