Overview

Our objective is to provide clients with a unique business perspective on how to leverage SAP technology to improve their operations. This role is part of EY's SAP service line capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch and SuccessFactors) aimed at helping clients improve performance and productivity. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, analyzing business models and processes to capture requirements that translate into technical specifications. Your Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver high-quality processes, solutions, or projects with a focus on risk management, continuous process improvement, and leveraging best practices. Oversee professional employees or supervise teams to achieve complex technical initiatives. Maintain billable client charging, lead delivery streams, manage projects, and engage with external clients daily. Travel may be required based on client needs. Lead the translation of business requirements into technical specifications. Evaluate and ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes and solutions. Skills and Attributes for Success

Strong foundation in managing processes and solutions with emphasis on quality and risk management. Ability to engage in research and apply best practices to drive innovation. Experience in leading SAP projects or workstreams and managing project-based teams (hybrid onshore/offshore delivery desirable). Functional understanding of the system development lifecycle and technology business architecture frameworks. What You’ll Do and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree 4 to 6 years of relevant experience working with SAP Project Systems; in-depth knowledge of other SAP Finance modules is a plus Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members; experience with hybrid delivery models is desirable Deep knowledge of Project System processes across multiple industries and ability to understand, communicate, and deliver complex client requirements Knowledge of Project Systems leading practices and advisory experience relevant to finance and technology functions Project structural components (Project definition, WBS elements, Networks, Templates) Project Planning, Budgeting, Milestones, Billing, MRP Advanced Results Analysis Methods Resource Related Billing Event-Based Revenue Recognition Experience integrating with other SAP Modules Managerial Accounting; Financial Accounting; Material Management; Order to Cash; Plant Maintenance; Production Planning; Human Resources Proficiency with one or more S/4HANA SAP FICO modules Security roles related to Project Systems and Management Accounting processes Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies Experience developing functional specifications and strong system configuration experience Relationship management, negotiation, critical thinking, and emotional agility Willingness to travel to meet client needs Ideally, you’ll also have

Comprehensive compensation and benefits; base salary ranges: US locations $142,600 to $261,500; NYC Metro, WA, CA ranges $171,200 to $297,200. Total Rewards include medical/dental, pension and 401(k), and PTO options. Hybrid work model: most client-serving roles expect 40-60% in-person collaboration.
