Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience; greet customers with eye contact, a smile, and courteous service.
• Follow all company best practice standards, maintain a clean work area, and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Engage in store tasks across areas as business needs require and perform additional tasks to achieve customer service and operational goals.
• Maintain safe conditions on the sales floor, keep egress clear, and promptly report unsafe conditions to Store Leadership.
• Assist customers with merchandise, answers to questions, and efficient checkout processes; respond promptly to customer service requests and escalate to Store Leadership when needed.
• Represent and support the Company brand at all times; safeguard confidential information and cash handling procedures.
• Perform cleaning tasks, replenish supplies, and ensure store areas remain neat and merchandised to standards.
• Understand MOS policies, loss prevention awareness, and merchandise protection standards where applicable.

Qualifications And Special Skills Required

• Effective communication with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use store equipment, stand for extended periods, and move around the store.
• Regular bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, carrying, reaching, and stooping; ability to lift more than 25 pounds; some roles may require lifting more than 20 pounds for stockroom shifts.
