Essential Functions

• Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do.
• Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment; keeps egress clear and reports unsafe conditions to Store Leadership.
• Treats all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; friendly and professional at all times.
• Assists Customers by being register-trained, helping with merchandise, answering questions politely and knowledgeably; greets Customers and says thank you at each register transaction.
• Provides prompt and efficient responses to Customers; responds to Customer Service calls and involves Store Leadership when needed.
• Represents and supports the Company brand at all times.
• Performs cleaning tasks and maintains a neat, clean store; replenishes restroom supplies and disinfects high-touch areas.
• Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the Company's dress code.
• Performs daily assigned sizing and recovery to ensure a neat, well-maintained store that is merchandised to standards.
• Expedites newly received merchandise to the sales floor and merchandises items per monthly presentation guidelines.
• Understands Loss Prevention programs and merchandise protection standards.
• Safeguards confidential information and cash/credit card information.
• Follows MOS policies and proper processing of disposals; handles cash, checks, card transactions, voids and other procedures with accuracy.
• Demonstrates urgency to maximize productivity and minimize steps in workflow.

Qualifications And Special Skills Required

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use all Store equipment, including PDTs, registers and PC as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the Store up to 100% of working time.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other assigned supplies.
• Certain assignments may require other qualifications and skills.
• Stockroom shifts: ability to regularly push, pull and lift more than 20 pounds.

The base pay range for this role is $15.49 - $15.99, dependent on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other elements of the total compensation package.
