Essential Functions
- Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do.
- Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment; keeps egress clear and reports unsafe conditions to Store Leadership.
- Treats all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; friendly and professional at all times.
- Assists Customers by being register-trained, helping with merchandise, answering questions politely and knowledgeably; greets Customers and says thank you at each register transaction.
- Provides prompt and efficient responses to Customers; responds to Customer Service calls and involves Store Leadership when needed.
- Represents and supports the Company brand at all times.
- Performs cleaning tasks and maintains a neat, clean store; replenishes restroom supplies and disinfects high-touch areas.
- Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the Company's dress code.
- Performs daily assigned sizing and recovery to ensure a neat, well-maintained store that is merchandised to standards.
- Expedites newly received merchandise to the sales floor and merchandises items per monthly presentation guidelines.
- Understands Loss Prevention programs and merchandise protection standards.
- Safeguards confidential information and cash/credit card information.
- Follows MOS policies and proper processing of disposals; handles cash, checks, card transactions, voids and other procedures with accuracy.

Qualifications And Special Skills Required
- Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful manner.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to use all Store equipment, including PDTs, registers and PC as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the Store up to 100% of working time.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other assigned supplies.
- Certain assignments may require other qualifications and skills.
- Stockroom shifts: ability to regularly push, pull and lift more than 20 pounds.

The base pay range for this role is $15.49 - $15.99, dependent on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other elements of the total compensation package.
