We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will oversee payroll processes, employee onboarding, and compliance documentation for a growing workforce of over 200 employees. This is a long-term contract position with part-time hours, ideal for someone with expertise in payroll and human resources.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full-cycle payroll process for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding procedures, including documentation and orientation for new hires.
• Develop and implement employment policies to maintain company standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Track employee hours and commitments, maintaining accurate records for payroll processing.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, compliance, and HR matters.
• Conduct training sessions and mentor new hires to foster a smooth transition into the organization.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with management to identify and implement payroll software solutions.
• Monitor and address payroll discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Support HR administrative functions, including maintaining records in human resources management systems.• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll, including multi-state payroll processing.
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms.
• Experience managing payroll for organizations with 100-500 employees.
• Strong knowledge of human resources administration and compliance requirements.
• Ability to develop and implement employment policies and training programs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for tracking hours and maintaining records.
• Effective communication skills to address employee concerns and provide mentoring.
• Understanding of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
