NW Employment is partnered with a Tire in Molalla and we are looking to add a Mechanic to join our team!

Shift: Mon-Fri

Pay-Starts at $24

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge and experience with various types of equipment, including heavy machinery and automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment. The Mechanic will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.

Duties

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as required.
Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
Work with Caterpillar machinery, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Repair automotive systems, including shocks and struts, HVAC systems, and other components.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on all equipment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in mechanical repair, particularly with heavy equipment operation and automotive systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with industrial equipment and dealership standards.
Proficiency in welding techniques is preferred.
Experience working with Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
Ability to diagnose problems quickly and effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license may be required based on job responsibilities.
