Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT experience and ARRT(R) registration to work 12-hour day shifts on weekends.Job Details•Work in a hospital radiology department with 2 GE CT scanners, including a 580W Wide Bore 16 slice and an Optima 64 Slice,•Primary responsibility is CT imaging; no requirement to float outside of CT,•Schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 6:00am to 6:30pm,•No call requirements for agency staff,•Typical daily volume ranges from 70 to 130 exams, dropping to 20-30 exams after 6pm,•Staffing involves staggered tech shifts, with one tech remaining overnight and support from a nearby X-ray tech,•Experience with GE CT scanners and starting IVs is required,Job Requirements•Active ARRT(R) registration is required,•Current BLS certification is required,•Ohio Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable,•Minimum of 2 years of CT experience,•Must be able to work independently and manage a broad range of technical CT procedures,•Experience with GE CT scanners is required,•Ability to start IVs is required,•Preferred: ARRT(R)(CT) certification and ACLS,Additional Information•Pass/fail EKG test required on first day, with study guides provided and two attempts allowed,•No requirement to float outside the CT department,•Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted,•Must be comfortable working independently, especially during later shifts,•First-time travelers will be considered,],•hash,:•4814178360090505273,
