Microsoft . This position is within the Microsoft Federal organization, addressing US Government (USG) mission, regulatory requirements, and procurement rules. Microsoft Federal personnel may serve in various roles to meet evolving USG needs. Responsibilities

Operates according to required operational excellence and practice standards across sales stages and activities (e.g., pipeline updates, time tracking). Collaborates across Microsoft and customer/partner teams to achieve objectives and increase satisfaction. Proactively manages business and technical risks, applying governance principles and compliant practices. Delivers solutions aligned with company methodologies (e.g., value-based deliverables, advice, training, technical validation) to prepare customers for operational readiness and business goals. Supports change management to drive long-term adoption and increased customer satisfaction and consumption. Guides customers/partners toward well-architected, secure, resilient, AI-enabled, cost- and performance-optimized solutions. Identifies new opportunity areas for Consumption, Usage & Unified expansion and captures opportunities in appropriate systems, collaborating across the organization. Escalates and mitigates blockers to accelerate deployment and value realization; applies knowledge to meet IT requirements and resolve constraints. Acts as voice of the customer/partner, sharing feedback to influence product roadmaps and strategic initiatives. Develops relationships with technical and business decision makers, bridging CIO/CISO concerns with security, compliance, and risk requirements. Drives customer experience, defines conditions of success, and addresses dissatisfaction to improve value realization and transformation speed. Leads and mentors teams to build readiness and upskill staff in alignment with priorities. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting. OR equivalent experience. 4+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of cloud-based applications. Security and Citizenship

Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance required. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government screening requirements; failure to maintain clearance may impact employment. Clearance verification may be required prior to offer. Microsoft Cloud Background Check required on hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Citizenship verification is required due to citizenship-based restrictions; may involve verification via passport or approved documents. Education and Certifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field plus 8+ years of related experience; or Masters Degree plus 6+ years; or equivalent experience. Technical cloud certifications preferred. Professional cloud certifications in Cloud, Database, Big Data, BI, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI encouraged. Experiences

4+ years in a customer-facing role and 4+ years on technical projects. Prior consulting/architecture experience in software engineering or professional services (desired). Knowledge of Azure cloud services and general knowledge of competing cloud platforms. Understanding of partner ecosystems and leveraging partner solutions to meet customer needs. Compensation and Benefits

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD 106,400 203,600 per year. Location-based variations apply (e.g., SF Bay Area, NYC). Some roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. See pay information at Microsoft Careers. Additional Information
