Construction Project Manager - Design Build
Location: Seymour, WI
Overview:
A well-established General Contractor with decades of experience delivering new buildings, build-outs, additions, and remodels is seeking a Construction Project Manager (Design-Build). The company is known for prioritizing safety, quality, and reliability, while fostering professional growth and quality of life for its employees.
Role Overview:
The Project Manager / Estimator will be responsible for managing all project activities from client interaction through execution. This includes working with customers, directing the design-build team to create project documents, coordinating with superintendents, field crew, and subcontractors, and collaborating with accounting on project costs and invoicing. The Project Manager will also develop schedules, oversee project meetings, and document proceedings. Travel to clients and job sites will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day coordination of multiple construction projects
Work with clients to establish scope, wants, and needs
Convey project scope to design team, consultants, and subcontractors
Prepare takeoffs, estimates, and written proposals
Evaluate subcontractor bids for scope compliance
Develop and maintain project schedules
Initiate building permit applications with local municipalities
Conduct site walk-through with clients and subcontractors
Host and document project meetings in-office and on-site
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management (or related field)
3-10 years of relevant construction project management experience
Strong plan reading skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
Ability to review/markup drawings in Bluebeam (preferred)
Valid Driver's License
