About the Role
Join our innovative higher education software provider as our Senior Vice President of Information Technology. In this pivotal role, you will be a trusted advisor and visionary leader, driving technology transformation and change across the institution. Your primary responsibilities will include leading technology and campus communications, fostering collaboration, and aligning technology strategies with our strategic plan.
We seek a forward-thinking professional who can challenge conventional approaches and advocate for transformation while maintaining high professionalism and collaboration. You will stay informed about emerging issues and trends affecting both higher education and technology, acting as an expert within our industry and among our customers.
To be considered for this position, you should bring a minimum of 10 years in the Information Technology field, preferably with experience in a small or private college setting. You should have a demonstrated history of leading IT strategic initiatives in an academic environment and possess current knowledge of technological trends in higher education.
Key qualifications include:
Strong understanding of administrative and academic computing systems (experience with Colleague preferred)
Excellent people management, collaboration, and communication skills
High emotional intelligence to influence and advise effectively
Adeptness in managing technology projects and resources aligned with institutional goals
