Job Title: Human Resource Generalist

Job Summary: The Human Resource Generalist serves as a liaison for all personnel, both plant and office. This role interacts with all levels of the organization to provide support services and ensure best Human Resource practices.

Please note: We are not looking to fill this position until January 1, 2026.

Essential Job Duties:

Conducts investigations when appropriate. Assists in planning and presenting all Employee Relations activities such as Town Halls, picnics, special events, and onsite meetings/announcements. Provides interpretation and assistance to associates regarding company practices, policies, and procedures. Fields questions from and provides information to employees concerning benefits, practices, policies, and procedures. Acts as a sounding board for employee concerns. Job Duties:

Interacts with associates to discuss employee counseling and determine corrective actions, ensuring fair consideration of both company goals and associate needs. Assists in the creation and review of all non-exempt hourly level job descriptions. Provides support for talent acquisition. Provides both Safety and Training support as required to meet Human Resources objectives. Monitors programs such as HR Information System, department budgets, safety, and training to assure area support under their responsibility. Prepares various reports for the Human Resources Department as requested. Advises the Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Manager of any conditions that may lead to unionization activity within the operation. Conducts new hire orientation covering company policies and procedures. Attends community events - Community Sponsor Days, Employment Recruiting Events, Chamber events, etc. Monitors all Human Resources activities while continually searching for improvements to current systems and processes. Assists with pre-employment drug screening and background checks. Assists with non-exempt new hire orientation and employment verification processes. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required:

Associate's Degree in a related field Preferred up to:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field Additional Skills and/or Certifications:

Excellent communication skills to be able to interact with employees, Middle Managers, and Department Heads. Demonstrate good leadership skills. Proficient in use of PC software such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
