Nuclear Medicine Technologist

110,000 to $150,000 + Full Benefits + Bonus 10,000.00 sign-on bonus Relocation Assistance Available Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing a full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and related chemicals. This role includes providing quality patient care, ensuring timely throughput of patients, and performing their exams. The technician operates and performs quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment, including gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. They perform PET, Nuclear Medicine, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including injection of contrast media, image acquisition, and reformatting. The incumbent also performs scans and procedures necessary for scanner qualification in research trials, creating and programming study-specific protocols under supervision.
