110,000 to $150,000 + Full Benefits + Bonus 10,000.00 sign-on bonus Relocation Assistance Available Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing a full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and related chemicals. This role includes providing quality patient care, ensuring timely throughput of patients, and performing their exams. The technician operates and performs quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment, including gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. They perform PET, Nuclear Medicine, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including injection of contrast media, image acquisition, and reformatting. The incumbent also performs scans and procedures necessary for scanner qualification in research trials, creating and programming study-specific protocols under supervision. Requirements include: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system Ability to maintain an appropriate work pace Customer service skills appropriate to the role Knowledge of state regulatory radiation safety practices and ALARA principles Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program Effective communication skills in English Availability for on-call and callback services Minimum one year of full-time experience as a CNMT Current BLS certification Active California CNMT license Active NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine Preferred qualifications: At least one year of full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures Knowledge of university and medical center policies and procedures Job details: Full-time Salary: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits include: 401(k) and matching Dental, health, and vision insurance Employee discounts, flexible schedule, and paid time off Professional development, tuition reimbursement, and referral programs Relocation assistance
