Nuclear Medicine Technologist

110,000 to $150,000 + Full Benefits + Bonus 10,000.00 sign-on bonus Relocation Assistance Available Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing a full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and related chemicals. Responsibilities include providing quality patient care, managing timely patient throughput, and performing exams. Operates and performs quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment, including gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. Performs PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including contrast media injection, image acquisition, and reformatting. Also responsible for scans and procedures for research trials, creating and programming study-specific protocols under supervision. Required Qualifications : Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Customer service skills appropriate to the role Knowledge of State regulatory radiation safety practices and ALARA principles Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program Effective communication skills in English Ability to provide on-call / call-back services as needed Minimum one year of full-time experience as a CNMT Current BLS certification Active State of California CNMT License Active NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine Preferred Qualifications : At least one year of full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures Knowledge of university and medical center policies, procedures, and organizational structure Job Type : Full-time Salary : $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits include: 401(k) and matching Dental and health insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedule and spending accounts Life insurance Paid time off Professional development and tuition reimbursement Referral and relocation assistance Vision insurance
