Proactively acts as voice of the customer/partner and internal communities, leveraging feedback tools and systems. Identifies and translates customer/partner problems into industry solutions. Drives customer experience through efficient delivery and a seamless, connected experience; escalates blockers and mitigates risks using appropriate tools. Delivers solutions in line with company methodologies and patterns; identifies opportunities for Consumption, Usage & Unified expansion at scale. Operates with required operational excellence and governance across sales stages, activities, and tools of record. Guides customers toward well-architected, secure, resilient, AI-enabled, cost- and performance-optimized solutions to increase retention and expansion. Provides feedback to Unified Delivery Team on VBDs to refine content; contributes to knowledge sharing and repeatable patterns. Specific Responsibilities and Business Impact
Collaborates across Microsoft and customer/partner teams to achieve objectives and increase satisfaction. Manages business and technical risks; aligns with business priorities and goals. Delivers value through product offerings, change management practices, and customer deployment for long-term adoption. Identifies gaps that enable scalable solutions across customers and communicates them to teams. Customer Centricity
Advocates for customer needs with Engineering, Product Offerings, and internal teams. Develops strategic insights from customer feedback and presents business cases to influence roadmaps and prioritization. Engages with C-level roles when deeper security, compliance, and risk requirements are needed. defines success criteria and drives improvements in customer experience and value realization. Partner Specialization
Identifies opportunities aligned with revenue goals and supports partners and sales with proof of concept and technical pre-sales. Collaborates with GPS to translate opportunities into actions and guides partners in developing repeatable offerings. Technical Leadership
Models technical readiness and leads upskilling within the team; mentors others on technical and non-technical concepts. Identifies gaps in delivery and connects patterns to drive product and process improvements. Contributes to Microsoft’s frameworks, IP, and external engagements; participates in events to elevate the Microsoft brand. Leads virtual teams and shares strategic and technical input across internal and external audiences. Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or related fields OR equivalent experience. 3+ years' experience with the Microsoft Power Platform and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE. Additional or Preferred Qualifications
As listed in the original description: combinations of degree, years of experience, and certifications in cloud technologies and customer-facing roles. 4+ years in a customer-facing role and 4+ years on technical projects. Technical certifications in Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google) or security. Experience implementing, operating, customizing, tuning, and troubleshooting Power Platform and Dynamics 365. Developer experience (C#, JavaScript) is advantageous. Strong ITIL/Service Management understanding and excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. Security clearance requirements: The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance and be able to meet Microsoft, customer, and government screening requirements. Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 – typical base pay range across the U.S. is USD 106,400 – 203,600 per year. In the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metro areas, base pay ranges are USD 137,600 – 222,600 per year.
