Overview

The Human Resources Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support for an organization's HR department by assisting in managing employee records, assisting with benefits and payroll, ensuring policy compliance, and acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries. Assist with handling day-to-day HR functions, utilizing HRIS to maintain data and contribute to various HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Records Management: Maintaining and updating employee data in internal HR databases, including personal information, employment contracts, and attendance records.
  • Benefits and Compensation Administration: Assisting with the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment and claims, and supporting payroll processes by providing up-to-date employee information.
  • HR Compliance: Assist with ensuring that HR practices and policies comply with federal and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Policy and Documentation: Assisting in the creation, updating, and communication of internal company policies and procedures, and preparing various HR documents.
  • Employee Relations & Inquiries: Serving as a first point of contact for employee questions about HR-related matters and assisting in resolving issues.
  • HRIS Management: Managing and operating the organization's HRIS to ensure data accuracy and smooth HR operations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Organization and Detail Orientation: Essential for managing large amounts of sensitive employee information and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication Skills: Needed to effectively interact with employees and managers. Discretion and Confidentiality: Crucial for handling sensitive employee data with professionalism.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS software and other computer systems to manage HR.
