Collections Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Collections Specialist position open with our client in Sarasota, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire role. Responsibilities Prepare, post, verify and record payments (i.e., credit card, lockbox, ACH, wire, etc.) Communicate with vendors regarding accounts receivable issues Also communicate via email and phone with customers regarding their accounts (i.e. answer questions, research/resolve payment/billing discrepancies, collect on past due amounts, negotiate payment settlements, process adjustments, etc.) Experience Minimum of two years of Accounts Receivable experience required Education High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge/Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Strong attention to detail Effective customer service, communication, research, mathematical and organizational skills Prior knowledge of accounting software a plus Work Hours/Pay Rate Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week $20-23.50/hr.
